7 cool things to do at Rider Mania 2019   

Slow races to exhilarating dirt bike racing, there’s a lot to look out for at the biggest Royal Enfield gathering in the country

The Royal Enfield Rider Mania 2019 is all set to begin on November 22 at Vagator, Goa. The 11th iteration of the event has loads of competitions and experiential activities for both men and women.

1) Dirt bike racing

Separate competition for men and women with 350cc, 400cc and 550cc classes. The event will be held under International Sporting Code of the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) for 2 wheelers and appendices of The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI).

2) Beer drinking competition

Bikes, beach and beer… what more can one ask for, right? Well…more beer! And even better when you get awarded to drink the most ale!

3) Moto Ball

How about playing football while riding a motorcycle? Time to use your riding skills to score goals and points.

4) Trials

Face your biggest fears with your motorcycle on the pre-designed track to make for an exhilarating experience at the Rider Mania.

5) Assembly Wars

This event requires you to disassemble some parts and then reassemble as quickly as possible. Each team will consist of four members

6) Slow race

Ever wondered where does slow and steady win a race? Right here! Be the slowest of the lot and take home the prize! Are you slow enough?

7) Ace the Hill

Time to use all that torque from your Thumper. This competition is all about getting to the top of the hill the quickest to earn the top honors.

Apart from these activities, revellers can enjoy live performances from Dualist Inquiry, Agnee, The Local Train, Parikrama, Nash JR, Soulmate, DJ- SA, Avial and The Royal Enfield Collective.

Royal Enfield is expecting more than 8000 riders to be present at the event, including riders above the age of 70 as well as specially-abled riders. To reduce the use of ‘single-use plastic’, a move that the brand started during the Himalayan Odyssey 2019, Royal Enfield will be providing participants with a metal sipper at the time of registration to minimize the use of plastic bottles during the event.
