Electric two-wheeler brand EeVe India has launched two new e-scooter offerings, the Ahava and Atreo. While the Ahava will retail for Rs 55,900 (ex-showroom), the Atreo is price at Rs 64,900 (ex-showroom). Further, the Ahava can be had in two dual-tone colour schemes (red/black and blue/black), while the Atreo will be available in either a red-black shade or in silver colour. The Eeve Ahava and Atreo go up against mid-segment e-scooters, like the Ampere Magnus Pro, and the lead-acid variant of the Bgauss B8.
Both the Atreo and Ahava feature a 250W motor, and while the Atreo has a riding range of 90 to 100km, the Ahava offers a riding range of 60-70km, with both scooters taking about 7-8 hours for their batteries to charge up fully. Eeve India says both e-scooters will offer a running cost of about 15 paisa per km. And, while both scooters will get a 5-year warranty, their batteries will be offered with a one-year warranty.
Speaking of features, being halo products, both the Atreo and Ahava boast IOT-enabled tech like geo-tagging, geo-fencing, and remote immobilisation as standard, along with the capability of displaying important info such as battery charge level on the rider's mobile, all of which is done via a dedicated app. Besides, there are the de rigueur features such as daytime running lights, disc brakes, tubeless tyres, LED illumination and a USB charging port on the front apron.
Speaking on the launch of the Atreo and Ahava, Harsh Vardhan Didwania, co-founder and director, EeVe India said, “We are really excited about adding two new variants of electric scooters besides the existing models: Xeniaa, Wind, 4U and Your. We look forward to establishing ourselves as one of the pioneer manufacturers of electric scooters in the near future. Our vehicles are designed keeping in mind the needs and requirements of the Indian two-wheeler users. So, EeVe is perfect for your utility, style, and comfort.”
