Barely two days after releasing a teaser, TVS Motors has launched the race-edition of their much-loved scooter, NTorq 125 at Rs 62,995. The scooter flaunts a couple of new features over the standard one along with the exclusive colour scheme.

What’s new in the TVS NTorq 125 Race Edition?

The NTorq 125 Race Edition features an LED DRL and LED headlamps housed in a revised fascia. It is also equipped with hazard lights. The NTorq 125 has always had bluetooth connectivity that hooks up to a smartphone app, but the Race gets a special user interface on their TVS Connect app. Other changes distinguishing it from the standard model are the metallic red, matte balck and metallic black colour scheme, the chequered flag graphics and a ‘Race Edition’ badge.

The Ntorq stays mechanically the same

A lot of rumours about the Ntorq going BS6 compliant were floating around when the teaser was dropped, but nothing of the sort has happened. The TVS NTorq 125 continues to be powered by the same 124.79cc, 3-valve, single cylinder engine producing 9.2bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.5Nm at 5,500rpm.

At Rs 62,995 (ex-showroom, Delhi) the Race Edition is Rs 3,000 pricier than the standard variant with the disc brake. The TVS Ntorq has been well received for its peppy nature, flickability and the goodies like the all-digital console. The Race Edition adds some sporty character to this already sorted scooter.
