Triumph tease the ROCKET 3 unveil at IBW

Triumph will showcase the 2020 Rocket 3 in India on December 5 as part of Triumph India’s sixth anniversary celebrations

India bike week is just around the corner Triumph India is all set to showcase the new Rocket 3 GT that was launched earlier this year internationally. This event is all set to take place on the 5th of December just a day before the India bike week festivities kick off on the 6th. The new Rocket have two variants on offer triumph has not said which one the Rocket 3 R or the Rocket GT will be unveiled. Triumph have just shared a social media post about this event you can have a look below.

The Rocket 3 comes packed with a massive 2,458cc in-3 cylinder that is one of the largest production engines to be fitted to a bike. The power numbers on offer with this unit are 164hp and 221Nm of torque at 4000rpm all that power is matted to a 6-speed gearbox. The Rocket 3 has shed a couple of kilos thanks to some teaks in the frame with the bike now weighing in at 291kg (dry) that makes it 40kg lighter than the previous generation Rocket. Suspension on the Rocket is a set of Showa USD forks with 47mm, compression and rebound adjustable at the front and a monoshock at the rear with a Showa reservoir and remote adjuster (with 107mm travel).

A whole host of rider aids and a new TFT screen that allows you to sync up with a GoPro or phone and then control it features, like stop start recording on the camera and pick up or decline calls along with offering turn by turn navigation.
