Triumph Motorcycles India has just concluded the 1st edition of its winter ride - the Adventure Trails Zanskar. It becomes the first premium brand to ride across the Shinku-la pass in Zanskar valley via the newly inaugurated Darcha- Padum route. The 7 day Adventure Trails Zanskar followed the motorcycle touring and training format, where participants were trained by experts to ride in snow, put on snow chains along with other nuances of high-altitude motorcycle riding.
Mr. Shoeb Farooq, GM, Triumph Motorcycles India said: “Triumph is the first brand to establish the premium Adventure touring culture in India. Each year, we look at expanding our riding calendar and with the Zanskar ride, we’ve set a benchmark like never before. This was by far one of our most adventurous rides offering an unparalleled experience to participants right from crossing Shinkula entering Padum, to camping at Suraal glacier. The latter being the most mesmerizing in my opinion. We like to offer our customers off the beaten track experiences and with the new year, we look forward to raising this benchmark to a much higher bar in terms of adventure motorcycle tours in India”.
A total of 10 participants from across the country took part in this 7-day adventure ride, riding through high intensity winds and extreme temperatures riding across snow, sand, ice and off-road trails, that included some sections of the route which are part of the Raid-De-Himalaya rally.
