Italian two-wheeler manufacturer Aprilia launched the all-new Aprilia Storm 125 scooter at a price tag of Rs 65,000 ex-showroom, India. This is the youngest and cheapest sibling in Aprilia’s scooter line-up. The brand says it has been designed for the youth, as it also tends to flaunt the funky colour schemes it comes in. Aprilia is also offering a series of optional accessories for the scooter. Before the Storm, Aprilia refreshed the Aprilia SR 150 range which was long due for an update.

The scooter gets Aprilia’s 125cc engine that produces maximum power of 9.46bhp and 8.2Nm of torque. In terms of the design, it gets inspiration from its sibling, the SR 125, which applies to almost every basic component of the body. However, the points of significant difference with respect to the size are the 12-inch wheels and of course the paint job. It gets funky decals all over which enhances its road presence and sets it apart from its rivals. The scooter also gets a dual headlamp and a twin analogue instrument cluster.

The Aprilia Storm goes up against the Honda Activa 125, the TVS NTorq 125, the Honda Grazia and the Hero Destini 125.
