Triumph reveals the 2019 Street Twin at Intermot 2018. The Street Twin get a significant bump in power and new features. It is powered by a 900cc, parallel-twin motor which is now tuned to develop 64bhp compared to the previous power figure of 55bhp. The redline has also increased by 500rpm. It dishes out 80Nm of torque at 3,800rpm.
The motor is also upgraded with a lighter crankshaft and balancer shaft, a magnesium camshaft cover and a lighter clutch. The motor rests on a tubular street cradle. The Street Twin gets two engine modes, road and rain. Both the modes have a custom throttle map and traction control settings.
Braking duties are carried out by a single 310mm floating disc coupled with Brembo 4-piston calipers at the front and single 220mm disc with Nissin 2-piston floating caliper. The bike is also equipped with ABS on both ends. The suspension too has been upgraded with a better cartridge fork at the front for improved ride and dynamics. It also gets a 2-1-2 exhaust system with twin brushed silencers. The bike get brushed aluminium brackets on the headlights, a redesigned tank badge and machined alloy wheels.
