The Chinese bike maker, Regal Raptor in partnership with Fab Motors, Hyderabad has been selling their cruisers in the country for a while. Now, the Telengana Government Police has been provided with a fleet of Raptors Police Legacy bikes which are equipped with useful features for maximum support to the public, during an emergency situation.
As the name suggests, the cruiser gets 6 sensors, wireless public addressing, powerful flashers, first-aid box, fire extinguisher, rear post red tail lamp with revolving flasher light, dual storage boxes, GPS, front windshield, oxygen sensor and a full sized footboard.
The Raptors Police Legacy is powered by a 320cc, liquid cooled, parallel twin cylinder engine that produces a maximum power of 22.7bhp and maximum torque of 22 Nm. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox via an oil-bathing multi-plate clutch, the bike is fuel injected. The cruiser can sprint to 60kmph in just 3.5 seconds and can reach speeds up to 130kmph, claims Regal Raptor.
Regal Raptor Motorcycles set up its shop in India way back in 2015 by spending Rs 1000 crore, in partnership with Hyderabad based Fab Motors. Their only showroom across pan-India is based in the same city.
