Hero Motocorp reveals details of the BS6-ready Xtreme 200S

Hero Motocorp has updated its website with all the latest information about the BS6-compliant Xtreme 200S

Ahead of its upcoming launch, Hero Motocorp officially updated its website with the Xtreme 200S. The Xtreme 200S will be the second variant in the Xtreme lineup for India and will be a part of the 200cc motorcycle segment.

No cosmetic updates on the BS6 Xtreme 200S

The BS6-compliant Xtreme 200S, as per the official details on the website, is powered by a 199.6cc motor making 17.83bhp and 16.4nm, a small dip from its BS4 counterpart. The Xtreme 200S gets an OHC oil-cooled engine paired to a five-speed gearbox. The Xtreme 200S gets a telescopic fork up front and rectangular swing arm with a mono-shock at the rear, and comes equipped with 17-inch wheels. The BS6 updates in the engine have also resulted in an increase of 5.5kg in the kerb weight of the Xtreme 200S making it weigh around 154.5kg. Also on offer is a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth pairing and navigation, and par for the course LED head- and taillights.

The BS6 Xtreme 200S has been launched at a price of Rs 1.15 lakh ( ex-showroom, Delhi) and we can give a proper review on the BS6 Xtreme 200S only when get a chance in its saddle and see what all has changed from its BS4 avatar.
