The Aprilia SR 150 range was long due for an update and the company has introduced the facelifted versions of the entire SR 150 line-up. The highlight of the facelifted Aprilia and Vespa models is the introduction of a part-digital, part-analogue console and mobile connectivity. Mechanically, the scooters remain the same.
The facelifted models also get new paint schemes and graphics. Aprilia has also introduced a limited edition SR 150 Carbon which gets an all-black paint job and mobile connectivity features as standard along with other features that the SR150 face lift gets, like the digital/analogue console and a USB option for charging mobile phones. The SR 150 Race gets a tall wind screen, mobile connectivity feature as standard and a gold coloured caliper for the front disc brake. The SR 150 race sports a white paint job with red and green graphics inspired by the RS-GP superbike theme. The SR 150 facelift gets the digital console and the mobile connectivity feature as an option. It is available in four new colours – matt black, blue, glossy red and white.
The facelifted Vespa VXL and SXL are available in three new colours – Matt Rosso Dragon, Matt Yellow and Azzuro Provenza. Both these scooters come with the mobile connectivity feature. Through this feature, the rider can access GPS info, store the emergency contact details, and locate nearby service outlets via the mobile app. A panic alert feature is also embedded for emergency situations. The ‘Find Me’ feature enables the user to find his/her scooter in a busy parking area, for example. The mobile connectivity feature is common for both Aprilia and Vespa models. Vespa has also launched the limited edition Vespa Notte (125cc) at Rs 68,829 and it will be available only in an all-black paint scheme.
