Trek Bicycles, a USA based bicycle manufacturer, has announced its entry to the Indian market. The bicycle maker is targeting the premium and super premium bicycle segment in the country with its range of bikes. Trek Bikes have 34 models in its line-up that fall in different categories; like road, mountain, and hybrid bikes. The bicycles will be available across its dealerships located in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Indore.
The brand is also catering to riding gear, bicycle accessories, spare parts and merchandise under the brand name ‘Bontrager,’ which are also available across the country. The brand was founded by Richard Burke and Bevil Hogg, who had an aim to make the best bicycles in the world.
On the entry of the brand to India, Jens Voigt, Trek brand ambassador, said, “I’m very excited to be here in India. It is encouraging to see a lot of fitness enthusiasts take up cycling and the level of professional cyclists in India. Over the next few days, I am looking forward to riding with cycling enthusiasts across Delhi NCR.”
