The Ducati Streetfighter is expected to debut this year at EICMA but that hasn’t stopped Italian design house Officine GP Design from building ten shockingly delicious, naked streetfighter customs, based on the already stunning Ducati Panigale V4. It’s been more than one year since the launch of the V4 and Ducatisti have been left asking for a full-fledged naked. With Ducati promising more models with the MotoGP-derived engine, customs like these might just become regular occurrences!
This design is the brainchild of Luca Pizzato, CEO of Officine GP Design. It involves taking a stock V4S and adding oodles of bronze and a crazy, Ariel Ace-style girder front end from FG Racing (made from solid billet aluminium with an Öhlins shock) which replaces the stock USD forks. Another highlight of the build is the custom spoked wheels from Jonich SX, which not only look wild but provide the kind of performance expected from modern tubeless tyres.
Specially textured, powder-coated copper panelling covers the tank and frame. The lights are from the Ducati XDiavel, while the dash is from the standard model but is connected via a special 3D printed mount.
There’s a leather monoposto (single rider) saddle by Foglizzo with V4 Penta logo along with Rizoma parts including fuel cap, levers and footrests. The build was undertaken independently of the Ducati factory but does show the potential of the V4 platform.
