TVS rolls out the Apache RTR 200 with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI)

TVS motors have added the EFI kit to its highly popular 200cc motorcycle, the Apache RTR 200 4V that was adjudged Indian Motorcycle of the Year (IMOTY) 2017. There are no changes mechanically but there is an addition of a fly screen available only in two colour options, white and yellow.

The RTR 200Fi 4V features a twin-spray, twin-port EFI which TVS claims will improve the throttle response, performance and reduction in emission levels. It makes a maximum power of 20.7bhp at 8500rpm, a bump of 0.5bhp over its carburetted sibling. Maximum torque is identical at 18.1Nm arriving at 7000rpm. The 197.7cc 4-stroke oil-cooled single cylinder engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox in a 1-down 4-up pattern.  Telescopic forks at the front and mono shock at the rear take care of the suspension duties while a 270mm disc up-front and 240mm disc brake at the rear bring the RTR 200 to a stop.
