Triumph unveils Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition
Not just Aston Martins and Jaguars, James Bond will also be seen riding a motorcycle in his upcoming flick – No Time To Die. The motorcycle in question itself is a modded Scrambler 1200 XE and to celebrate the association, Triumph has unveiled a limited edition model, inspired by the machine ridden by Daniel Craig in the movie. Triumph has started taking orders and if you’re contemplating to buy one, do it soon because there are just 250 units on offer.
The Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition features a Sapphire Black paint scheme, featuring British flag on the tank and brushed decal foil knee pad with hand-painted gold coachline. Additional 007 branding includes a exhaust number board and lower side panel finisher with pressed 007 branding, leather seat with embroidered logo and a unique 007 TFT instrument startup screen.
All of this comes on top of a whole host of blacked-out features, including rear mudguard, grab rail and sump guard, black forks, high-value engine badges with gold accents, black powder coated swingarm and sprocket cover. You also get an Arrow silencer with carbonfibre end caps, machined front brake reservoir, black rear wheel adjusters and a stainless steel headlight grill.
Mechanically, the Scrambler 1200 Bond edition remains the same and continues to be powered be the liquid cooled, 1200cc, parallel-twin motor that churns out 87bhp and 110Nm. Triumph will be delivering each of the bikes with a Handover kit signed by Triumph’s CEO Nick Bloor along with a rucksack. That’s not about it, every single example will be numbered and feature it’s own number (out of 250) inscribed on the handlebar.
