Triumph India is all set to unveil the next generation Bonneville Speedmaster at the 2017 India Bike Week on November 24 in Vagator, Goa. The new Speedmaster made its world debut on October 3 in the UK and now the company is ready to bring it to India.

The Speedmaster is based on the current generation Bonneville Bobber, but gets a more laid back seating arrangement, a wider traditional handlebar and not a drag bar, forward-set footpegs and wider-section tyres all of which are the traits of a cruiser motorcycle.

At the heart of the new Speedmaster is the same 1200cc 8-valve SOHC liquid-cooled parallel-twin High Torque motor. It appears here in the Bobber trim and hence pumps out 76bhp of power and 106Nm of torque from as low as 4000rpm. The equipment list on the Speedmaster includes a full-LED headlamp, ride-by-wire, ABS, switchable traction control and many more.

Scheduled for November 24-25, India Bike Week is the biggest motorcycling festival in the country, motorcycling enthusiasts from all across the country mark their presence at the mega event. It is the perfect setup for Triumph to unveil the iconic Speedmaster in India. Its official launch is expected early next year in India.
