Triumph flags off second edition of Tiger Trails to Spiti
Triumph Motorcycles India has flagged off the second edition of their Tiger Trails adventure expedition in Shimla today. The annual event is aimed to provide an exclusive riding experience of Triumph motorcycles to customers in India.
The participants will ride from Shimla to Manali via the adventurous Spiti valley in this ‘ride-cum-training’ programme. The company says that the chosen route will give the riders exposure to different terrains and challenges where they can discover the true potential of the Tiger motorcycles. They also say that it will be a step further over the Triumph Tiger Training Academy, where participants will ride outside of a controlled environment which will prepare them for riding in all kinds of terrains. To ensure safety, a 4X4 sweep with mechanics, supplies and communication aids will accompany the riders at all times.
Speaking about the adventurous trail, Mr Vimal Sumbly, MD of Triumph Motorcycles India said “With over 900 Tiger customers in the country Triumph Motorcycles does not just deliver great motorcycles, we also create an ecosystem in which the rider is equipped with the skill sets to ride deftly and safely. Our initiatives like the Triumph Tiger Trails and Tiger Training Academies have had an overwhelming response across India. With the recent introduction of the all-new Tiger 800 and the Tiger 1200, the game just got better. We have and will be working on more of these curated programmes to further our commitment to building a safe riding culture in India, and to promote the spirit of adventure in the country.”
The five-day trail starts today from Shimla and ends on July 27 in Manali and participants will ride a range of Triumph motorcycles that includes the newly launched Tiger 800 and Tiger 1200.
