Spock electric two-wheeler launched at Rs 65, 000

Li-ions Elektrik Solutions Pvt Ltd., launch their first electric two-wheeler and are calling it Spock. The electric scooter will go up against the likes of the Okinawa Ridge+. Its price ranges between Rs 65,000 to Rs 99,999.

Powering the electric two-wheeler is a 2.9kWh swappable lithium ion battery and a BLDC hub motor which is good for 2.1kW(2.8bhp) of peak power and 1.2kW(1.6bhp) of continuous power while the torque produced is 230Nm. The Spock can achieve a top speed of 45kmph and a top range of 130km. The range of the scooter can average from 50-130km based on riding style. It can cover 100km on a single charge in power mode and 130km on a single charge in economy mode. The battery can be fully charged in three hours and is good for 1200 charging cycles. Users will have the choice of either swapping the battery or recharging it at a charging station.

The Spock will don 12-inch wheels with tubeless tyres and will come factory fitted with features like a fitted rear cargo box with thermal insulation, hydraulic suspensions, motorcycle-like handlebars and integrated turn indicators in the tail lamp.
