Joy e-Bike inaugurates first experience centre for Pune
Joy e-Bike has officially inaugurated its first experience centre in Pune making it the sixth of its kind in the country. With this experience centre WardWizard hopes to improve the adoption of its electric two wheelers by allowing customers to properly experience the product and even take it for a test ride. Apart from this, the company also has plans to add three more experience centres in Maharashtra — Thane, Kolhapur and Nagpur by the end of this financial year.
Along with showcasing all the EV’s the company has on offer, the experience centre also has a dedicated service centre for customer to get their vehicles serviced. Speaking of Joy e-Bike’ portfolio, the brand has mini-bike style EVs to scooters and even full-szed bikes with prices ranging from Rs 71,500 for the smallest offering to Rs 2.42 lakh for the highest-end offering called Beast. All these scooters offer varying levels of range and performance. Some of the scooters in the catalogue are capped at a top-speed of 25kmph with a 60km range. This means, that even people without a licence can ride these scooters.
Commenting on the inauguration of the experience centre, Sheetal Bhalerao, CEO, WardWizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd., said, “I believe this experience centre would prove to be a game-changing endeavour. It will introduce electric vehicles into every household in the state. We are very grateful to the Government of Maharashtra for giving us this opportunity to expand our operations in the state and bring electric mobility closer to potential customers. Our efforts are aligned with the government's priorities in making the entire country pollution-free. Maharashtra is a priority market for the brand, and we are witnessing that customers are increasingly switching to electric two-wheelers to meet their daily commuting needs here. The new centres will strengthen our presence and deliver a unique experience while catering to the customers' needs from sales to service. The brand has plans to inaugurate more experience centres across the country gradually.”
The company reported record sales figures in September 2021 and hopes that the addition of such experience centres will take their sales number even further.
