Honda recently unveiled the Neo Sports Cafe at the Tokyo motor Show. The Neo Sports Cafe or the NSC is a mix of retro cafe racer design with modern naked styling. The round front headlamp, flat handle-bar and chiseled fuel-tank give it a retro cafe racer appeal while the LED inserts in the headlamp, exposed rear wheel with a single-sided swingarm and the naked inspired upright-seating interprets to a modern naked motorcycle design. The seating sub-frame is quite similar to the cantilever one found on the MV Agusta Brutale 800, although here it appears in a very subtle manner. The info panel seems to be a TFT-display, judging by the dimensions of the console.

Honda hasn’t revealed any technical details about the bike, but what is clearly visible from the shared pictures is that it will be powered by an inline four-cylinder engine, probably borrowed from Honda’s current litre-class line-up. There are also speculations that Honda will showcase the Neo Sports Cafe in the production guise at the EICMA show in Milan next month.

Honda is yet to unveil its plans for the NSC. Could it replace the CB 1000R, which is in dire need of a generation update? Or carve out its own segment altogether? Stay tuned to Fast Bikes India for more updates on the Neo Sports Cafe.
