EV Expo 2017: Lohia Auto unveils Oma Star Spl e-scooter
Lohia Auto Industries unveiled the Oma Star Spl, an e-scooter that is made for specially abled persons. The 3-wheeled e-scooter comes with features like digital speedo, alloy wheels, big under seat storage capacity, high ground clearance and telescopic fork suspensions at the front. Color options for the Oma Star Spl e-scooter include red, white, grey and black.
They already have three electric two-wheelers in their product line-up along with four electric rickshaws and two diesel rickshaws. All the three e-scooters, Oma Star, Genius and OmaStar-Li share the same tubular frame chassis with minor variations in dimensions. They have a claimed top speed of 25kmph and a range of 60-70kms on a full charge. All the three e-scooters are powered by Brushless DC motors that have an output of 250 watts.
Lohia has not revealed the specification for the Oma Star Spl e- scooter yet, but we expect similar features to be present as the other three e-scooters. Watch this space for more information.
