Suzuki has its BS6-compliant lineup at the Expo which includes Access 125, Burgman Street 125, entire Gixxer range and Intruder 155. Amongst the big bikes, the V-Strom 650XT is the only bike to get updated with the new emission norms. The Hayabusa, too is displayed but is still BS4 compliant, and has been launched as a limited-edition model.

None of the models flaunt any major updates, however, the Gixxer 250 and Burgman Street 125 were also displayed in the MotoGP livery seen on the Gixxer SF models. Suzuki will be evaluating the audience response during the Expo and based on customer feedback, could launch it later this year.

Suzuki’s MotoGP machine, the GSX-RR, too is on display at the Suzuki stall along with Katana, for the first time in the country. Suzuki has also set up a virtual reality racing station with the 2019 Gixxer SF 250 Cup bikes.

Koichiro Hirao, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India said, “We feel proud to launch the BS6 compliant versions of our entire range of products, way ahead of the regulation deadline. Suzuki’s growth momentum for FY2019-20 has been fueled by well-balanced and superior performance product portfolio. We aim to continue the image of premium two-wheeler brand in the country by further adding value to the over-all riding experience of the customers. The new fiscal year holds newer challenges as we get set to roll out the all new BS6 compliant products, strengthen our motorcycle offering and continue to emphasize our growth strategy for the Indian market.”
