Ampere Magnus Pro launched at Rs 73,990
Ampere Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., a wholly-owned electric mobility subsidiary of Greaves Cotton Ltd., has launched the Ampere Magnus Pro scooter in the country. The Magnus Pro has an average range of 75-80km on a full charge, and is being launched in 4 colours: Bluish Pearl white, Metallic red, Graphite Black, Golden Yellow in Bangalore and will soon be available in other parts of the country. The launch price is Rs 73,990 in Bengaluru to begin with.
Magnus Pro also offers features like anti-theft alarm, digital LCD cluster, mobile charging USB point, LED lights, LED DRLs, telescopic suspension, 450mm leg space and large storage boot space. The total charging time for the 30Ah lithium-ion battery is between 5 to 6 hours. The 1.2Kw motor allows the scooter to hit 40kmph in 10sec while they top speed is rated at 55kmph. What helps the scooter’s case is the kerb weight at just 82kg, making it significantly lighter than its ICE-powered counterparts.
