MotoGP 2020 schedule is out
The MotoGP 2020 calendar has been confirmed. The season will begin with the night race in Qatar’s Losail International Circuit on March 8 and culminate at the Comunitat Valenciana on November 15.
The KymiRing circuit in Finland is yet to be homologated from FIM. The circuit will also be hosting a tyre test on June 15 and 16, and another private MotoGP test at Misano on September 15-16.
Teams have already started their official launches now. Mission Winnow Ducati Team announced the 2020 team with Andrea Dovizioso and Danilo Petrucci piloting the Ducati Desmosedici GP20. The bike now flaunts red livery with black and chromed details. Ducati has also been testing a new holeshot device which is likely to make its debut in the 2020 season.
Repsol Honda is likely to reveal the RC213V on February 4, and for the first time, will have the brothers, Marc Marquez and 2019 Moto2 champ Alex Marquez.
February 6, a day before the three-day Malaysian test, Movistar Yamaha and Petronas Yamaha will be announcing their team, followed by Suzuki Ecstar’s announcement with Joan Mir and Alex Rins on-board.
