Replicas of these motorcycles will have you laughing your lungs out

Motorcycle enthusiasts in Pakistan must be celebrating now. Sigma Motorsports, a Lahore based company, is selling replicas of popular international motorcycles under different names and of course, fake parts and downsized engines. This comes as a consolation for the enthusiasts who aspire to own big bikes from OEMs but instead have to make do with the cheap replicas of popular motorcycles sold around the globe.

One such motorcycle that will leave you ROFL is the ‘fabulous’ replica of the Ducati 848 – Warrior 350. Don’t let the styling fool you with Ducati badging on the tank, it is still very much a Chinese rep. Hidden by the fairing is a 350cc fuel injected twin cylinder engine. Terms like ‘excellent finishing’, ‘powerful engine’ and ‘unique looks with aggressive design’ in their website will have you in splits, not to forget the dual discs on the front. Price, you ask? It’s approx Rs 3.7 lakh. Man, what a way to enter the Ducati folkore!

There’s also an adventure touring motorcycle for the off road junkies in Pakistan, the Zongshen RX3S 380cc, a replica of the BMW F 750 GS. It comes with a warranty of just 1500km. Rokk 200 and Neon 150cc are naked street bikes that take inspiration from the KTM 200 Duke and the Benelli TNT 300. Valentino 350cc has a design that will remind you of multiple sports bikes all at once, if looked at different angles. The livery for example, resembles that of the Honda MotoGP bike.  There is also a dirt bike called the Enduro 250cc that makes 49bhp and 47Nm of peak torque from its liquid cooled single cylinder 250cc mill and comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

It looks like the 250-400cc motorcycle segment is booming in Pakistan, with the advent of bikes including the Fighter 250cc, Strom 250cc, Valentino 350cc and Warrior 350cc. The makers have taken the styling inspiration from a lot of big motorcycle brands and applied them only to a few vehicles. Some of the motorcycles are also available with twin cylinder engines and the bikes get USD forks! The wheels are shod with Pirellis or Metzeler rubbers!
