Ducati India to celebrate Independence day by supporting an NGO
Ducati India will flag off its first Scrambler Independence Rumble on August 15 to celebrate India’s 71st year of Independence. The Italian luxury bike manufacturer has announced that they are set to organize a ride from chosen dealerships across India this Independence day. The ride will represent a social cause as the company has plans to support the Lotus Petal Foundation, an NGO that focuses on free education and nutrition of unprivileged children from urban slums and poverty ridden areas. This non-profit setup also provides free primary and secondary healthcare to poor children and their families. Along with the company fellow Ducatisti from across the country will also raise money to support this foundation and participate in the ride on their Scrambler and Ducati range of motorcycles.

On this occasion, Sergi Canovas, MD, Ducati India, said, “Education is Independence and we want to give back to the society we live in. We are extremely proud to announce the Scrambler Independence Rumble on the occasion of 71st Independence Day of India. Through these rides, we endeavor to create awareness and help young children receive quality education with the support of Ducatisti across the country. I am confident that our first ride will be full of biking enthusiasts carrying the Indian Flag high and participate in this ride of joy, nostalgia, freedom, peace, love and nobility celebrating the spirit of Nationalism and making a difference”.
