#BestOf2017 – MV Agusta Brutale 800

This one is manic and crazy enough to give our friend the fearless Hrishi Mandke a scare or two. Powered by a howling 798cc liquid-cooled triple, the Brutale 800 puts out its 108.6bhp at a stratospheric 11500rpm. Peak torque of 83Nm however is available from 7600rpm. And this, mind you, is the saner version of this bike. Reportedly the previous gen bike is even more of a lunatic. The gorgeous Brutale 800 isn’t a machine to be trifled with. It takes a man – a real man – to tame her and exploit her strengths. In its sweetest avatar yet, this compact (or perhaps tiny) naked muscle bike can still bite your head off. But for the warnings, there’s no bike in the country today that make you grin so broad. And just for that, deserves a place here.
