Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India had announced plans to expand its portfolio in India with as many as five new models. We knew it were the updated variants of Fireblade (all-new actually!), Africa Twin and CB 1000 R but then Honda has thrown a surprise by delivering four units of Forza 300. There’s no information available on the pricing of the Forza 300 yet and also, Honda is considering a nationwide launch in 2021. We don’t know if it’ll be brought via CKD route or CBU just yet.

What is Forza 300?

Honda Forza 300 is powered by a 279cc, single cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected SOHC engine delivering 24.8bhp and 27.2Nm. Forza is also the first Honda scooter to sport the Honda Selectable Torque control.

Suspension duties are handled by 33mm telescopic forks at the front and 7-step adjustable twin rear shocks. A 265mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear take care of the braking department, aided by dual-channel ABS.

Being a maxi-scooter, the Forza 300 comes with several tasty features including an electronically adjustable windscreen which can be adjusted for up to 140mm. Forza also offers large underseat stowage capacity capable of storing two full-sized helmets.

The instrument cluster gets an analogue speedometer and rev-counter dials along with a digital display that provides information like- odometer, range, real-time fuel efficiency, tripmeter, average fuel consumption, clock, ambient temperature gauge and battery voltage display.

Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President - Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, “Encouraged by the excitement received from customers for Forza 300 displayed at Honda BigWing, Gurugram (which were pre-booked), Honda decided to introduce it in India. We are pleased to announce that we have delivered the first lot of 4 units to our customers. Moving forward, we will announce the Euro 5 compliant version in FY 2021.”
