Yamaha FZ25 and Fazer25 recalled


The precautionary recall is related to the head cover bolt loosening on the Yamaha FZ25 as well as the Fazer25

India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. has announced a precautionary recall for the Yamaha FZ25 and the Yamaha Fazer25 in India with immediate effect. According to the official statement, the motorcycles have been recalled to rectify loosening of the engine head cover bolt which needs to be tightened to a specified torque.

The motorcycles will be repaired free of cost at any of the Yamaha authorised dealers and Yamaha says owners are being contacted individually. 21,640 units of the FZ25 and 2,257 units of the Fazer25 have been affected by the issue.
