Royal Enfield ‘Tour of Bhutan’ dates announced

Royal Enfield has announced the dates for the sixth edition of the ‘Tour of Bhutan’ motorcycle ride. The riders will begin their ride in Siliguri, West Bengal on October 15 and then going through Phuntsholing and Paro they will reach Bhutan’s capital Thimpu, while the return route will include Gelephu, Bumthang, Mongar, Tashi Gang, Samdrup Jongkhar and the ride will finally end in Guwahati, Assam. The ride is spread across a distance of 1,300 km and will finish in 12 days.

The riders will have to face various challenging terrains comprising of snow-capped mountain peaks, water crossings, slush, gravel, narrow suspension bridges, winding mountain roads and some straight stretches.

The registration fee for the Tour of Bhutan 2017 is Rs 38,000 for solo riders and Rs 76,000 for couples. You can register for the ride here.
