Petronas Lubricants International launched Sprinta with Ultraflex in India, today. It’s flagship range of motorcycle lubricants is formulated for engine’s longevity. The oil is available in mineral, semi-synthetic and synthetic range.
Global tests conducted showed that Sprinta with Ultraflex has the ability to provide superior oil film strength that is more than 41 per cent higher than the industry benchmark. This helps the engine perform better even under stress of heavy load and speed. Even the power delivery is smoothened, reducing the need for higher throttle inputs helping improve the fuel efficiency. It also controls deposits for better power.
Petronas claims that the global population of two-wheelers is expected to touch 700 million by 2021, growing substantially at a rate of 8 per cent, per annum. The Indian market is expected to grow at an even higher rate, driven mainly due to rising transportation costs, lack of public transport, poor road infrastructure and growth in the urban population. Petronas is currently among the top ten oil companies in the world having jumped from the top 15 list in a span of few years. Sales from India are expected to promote the company’s growth at an even faster pace and help the Malaysian giant land in the top five list.
