India Bike Week begins November 24 in Goa

One of the biggest motorcycle events in India – India Bike Week (IBW), is scheduled for November 24-25, this year. This is the 5th year of the mega event and it is expected to be even bigger this time, with biking groups and riders coming from across the country. Unlike last year, the event will be held at Little Vagator Hills in Goa this year, which is the original location for the event. The event will feature various events and competitions such as live music performances, IBW strong men and women of biking competition, loudest bike competition, custom bike competition, flat-track racing on the Rajputana Custom’s built Harley-Davidson Street 750, Triumph Tiger Trail and a mega meet-up featuring top 20 moto Vloggers from India.
This year IBW will witness the presence of a host of biking legends from around the globe. First in the list is Freddie Spencer aka Fast Freddie, one of the greatest motorcycle racers from the 1980s and the only man who has won the 250cc and the 500cc championships back-to-back. Leslie Porterfield, the former fastest woman motorcycle rider will also be present at the IBW this year. Other important people marking their presence at the IBW are Vinod Rawat, the biker with a prosthetic leg, the famous American author and rider – Melissa Piersen, the Vadodra to London rider – Kumar Jayantilal Shah and the renowned bike tripper and TEDx speaker Dhruv Dholakia.
Other attractions at the IBW this year include a film-festival, a biker mart and expo with over 100 biker accessory shops, Bikini Bike Wash, Beer Gardens, Wheelie Machine and an “Innovation Class” for India built biking tech.
