HMSI launches three motorcycles

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched the updated versions of CB Shine SP, Livo and Dream Yuga motorcycles which retail at Rs 62,032, Rs 56,230 and Rs 52,741 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.  All three bikes get minor cosmetic updates and remain unchanged mechanically.

The CB Shine SP is the only 125cc motorcycle of the lot and the updates it gets include new graphics, tank shrouds, and an updated dash with service indicator and a clock, which is a thoughtful addition. The 124.73cc, single cylinder, air cooled mill of the Shine SP puts out 10.16bhp and 10.3Nm of torque and comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The Dream Yuga and Livo share the same 109.19cc, single cylinder, air-cooled motor that belts out 8.3bhp and 9.09Nm of torque. The motor is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The Livo gets new graphics and a new digi-analogue dash that also gets a service indicator and a clock while the Dream Yuga sports new graphics, updated meter design and gets body coloured mirrors.

All the three bikes come with low rolling resistance tyres developed by Honda and the bike maker claims that the new tyre compound will bring down rolling resistance by 15 to 20 percent while offering optimum grip. The bikes also come with a low maintenance seal chain that Honda claims is durable, which will result in low maintenance costs. All three bikes are available in five different colour schemes, with the Dream Yuga getting an additional dual colour scheme of black and sunset brown metallic.
