In last year’s DGR ride, more than 70,000 men and women took part in the ride which spanned more than 600 cities in 95 countries to raise awareness and provide funds to treat prostate cancer. The foundation aims to raise USD 6 million in this year’s DGR ride. Successful fundraisers stand a chance to win prizes that include Zenith watches and even a motorcycle from Triumph.
In India, more than 2,000 riders took part in the ride last year, which was organised by Triumph Motorcycles. This is the fifth edition of the DGR in the country and so far, 473 riders have registered for the ride and DGR has raised USD 770 for its campaign against prostate cancer in the country.
