Auto Expo 2018: Hero unveils the XPulse 200

Hero has unveiled the XPulse 200 for the first time at the Auto Expo 2018. The Xpulse gets the same engine as the one on the Xtreme 200 and is the only adventure motorcycle in its class. The XPulse like it’s the now discontinued Impulse is meant for on/off-road riding. However, the X-Pulse gets s bigger heart in the form of a 200cc single-cylinder unit instead of the 150cc one on the Impulse. For the first time for a bike of its class, the XPulse gets turn by turn navigation. Hero claims that the XPulse has an array of features  that make it better suited for long rides. The 200cc engine produces  a peak output of 18.15bhp and 17.1Nm of torque. The bike features LED headlamps, protective wind-shield, knuckle guards, and a luggage rack. The front sits on a 21 inch wheel while the rear makes do with an 18 inch one. The XPulse 200 boasts of a 220mm ground clearanace, aluminium skid plate, 10-step adjustable gas-charged rear suspension.

Hero today marked its foray into the 125cc scooter segment with the launch of the Duet 125 and the Maestro Edge 125. We will keep updating this story. Further details are awaited.
